Longyi is both donned by both sexes; it is called a Pasu when worn by man and a Htamein if by a woman. They say that the best longyis are found in Amarapura, well-known for the U Bein Bridge, the oldest and longest teak bridge of the world.
The Inle Lake is the ideal place to purchase high-quality, distinctive silk made from lotus. In some places in the Inle Lake, you’ll see how their gifted seamstresses create a silk blouse from dying it naturally to sewing it.
Cigars in Myanmar are well-known for its pleasant aroma, and can be unique souvenirs.
